Welcome back.
0:35
We’re so excited today.
0:38
We have an amazing guest.
0:39
Her name is Hadley Garrison.
0:41
She is a certified Aro Vedic health counselor and she has an MP H in health behavior, a BS in biopsychology and specifically, she is a health coach for energy optimization.
0:55
So, welcome to the podcast.
0:57
We’re so excited to have you.
0:58
Thank you so much.
0:59
I’m so excited to be here.
1:01
Thank you so much.
1:02
I love today’s conversation because I feel like God plants seeds throughout our lives and you’re like, why am I going to connect with this?
1:08
Person you never know who you’re going to meet.
1:10
Right?
1:11
And so for a little background story, I met Hadley at Christmas Caroling last Christmas because my friend Tyler invited Nick and I to go, she’s really good friends with Tyler and Rey.
1:22
So if you’re in San Diego, maybe you’ve seen them on Instagram or have gotten to know them.
1:27
But, and then literally, I was looking for more guests that could really support the podcast and I posted on threads and he reached out and I was like, oh my gosh, look here.
1:36
Our words are colliding and I’m just so excited to one.
1:39
I got to meet you there and spend time with you in like a different setting.
1:42
And now we get to like, really get to know you.
1:45
I think what’s one of the beautiful things about the in person recordings that we are now doing is prioritizing deep depth and presence and connection.
1:53
So I’m so excited for today’s episode.
1:55
So good.
1:56
Yeah, I love that.
1:57
I, that we met doing Christmas caroling too because I was just saying before we started recording that I’m a big Christmas person.
2:05
We love the holidays.
2:06
We’ve all decided we love the holiday.
2:10
So I love just like so serendipitous and then almost a year later, like literally a couple of months away.
2:16
It’s amazing.
2:19
So good.
2:20
Talk to us a little bit about what energy optimization means and we’re going to talk about all I think we’re going to touch on all the subjects that we mentioned about your bio.
2:29
But yeah, let’s start with that and just what that, what that means and how we can really like harness our energy totally.
2:36
So I’ve been a health coach for the past six years and I have really realized even within like the last year that the thing that I’m most excited about with health coaching is when my clients go from feeling like they don’t have the kind of energy levels that they wanna have to, you know, getting to a place where they feel like they have all of this overflow of energy where they have so much more capacity and bandwidth, they have so much more resilience to everything that kind of comes up in their life.
3:11
And so I realized that that’s really my, you know, quote unquote niche is like, how do we actually get to a place where we have the kind of energy levels that we want to have?
3:20
Because, you know, I think, I mean, I’m a health coach.
3:23
I love health, all things health.
3:25
But what’s the point really like, what’s the point of health?
3:29
The point is to feel the way that we want to feel and to have the kind of the kind of exuberance for life that we wanna have.
3:36
And so I often find that when my clients get, you know, get their health habits down, get the lifestyle, the routines, all of that good stuff down, they suddenly have so much more, so much more bandwidth to live their purpose, live their passion.
3:52
And so that’s what I’m most excited about.
3:55
W we, I love this conversation because one, we’re obsessed with health and for this exact reason, you know, I think when I first started doing this work until like, finding who I am, what does it look like for me to create the life that I want, you know, really showing up as my fullest express self in all areas.
4:12
You know, I and now I’m a speaker on burnout for this exact reason.
4:16
And I talk a lot about this from like optimizing your nervous system to give your, to gain capacity.
4:21
But a huge part to like my process has been like, OK, I have the habits I have the, the sys the nervous system to create capacity for.
4:30
And there was always this missing piece as the health part, which is what you’re talking about because it basically puts in my opinion, it just puts everything on steroids.
4:39
It’s like, whoa I can feel so much better.
4:42
For example, like recently I’ve been talking to her a lot we talked about on this podcast.
4:45
Like I got on progesterone.
4:46
I’ve been optimizing my hormones, which I’m so excited even taking iron because I’ve been low on iron and you can just feel a massive difference in your day.
4:54
And as I get older, and I’m only, I just turned 32.
4:58
Like, I’m not like 40 or 50.
5:00
So I think we can start thinking about this so much sooner.
5:02
I think people start to think about this when I’m in my forties and my fifties and my sixties and be like, I can’t show up the same.
5:08
But like I realized that I wasn’t showing up at my best, even at 32.
5:12
And I was like, ok, so now I prioritize like, well, how can I have so much energy all the way down to like our nightly routine to how I treat myself the day before because feeling good is so special.
5:26
And it’s rare too when you haven’t felt that good before or you haven’t felt that level of energy.
5:32
But before you’re like, oh, I want to tap out at that as consistently as I can throughout my life.
5:38
And I know as women we don’t get to because of our hormones.
5:41
But what if we could optimize as much as possible so we can be our fullest self, which just sounds like what you’re doing through health.
5:48
Yes.
5:48
Yes, absolutely.
5:50
And something that you were talking about and something that comes up a lot is like people a lot of times ask me about time management and I’m like, you actually don’t need time management.
6:00
You need energy management.
6:03
You need to actually get to a place where you feel the kind of energy that you want to have.
6:09
And then time management becomes irrelevant because you’re able to do so much in your, in your life and in your work and in all the things that you really want to be pursuing.
6:19
And the other thing is like, you know, we have all these things that we like wanna have success with.
6:23
But what’s the point like, what’s the actual point of success except to feel that we want the way that we want to feel.
6:31
And so, and we think that success is going to get us to that place where we feel, how we want to feel.
6:37
But really, it comes down to our daily habits and that’s the thing that makes us feel the way that we want to feel.
6:42
So amazing.
6:44
So let’s something that I loved when I we connected earlier was talking a lot about what you were in the wellness space or in the health space you can come up against like, well, they say I should be doing this and I should be doing that and I should be doing this and I should be doing that.
6:57
And it’s like, what is your take on that?
7:00
Because I would love your opinion on this because I think you really break that down a little bit in a much more hable way for people.
7:08
I understand totally.
7:09
Yeah, I, that was my biggest frustration in the wellness space.
7:13
Like I was so, you know, I was like, I would see everything on Instagram and, you know, this was a number of years ago.
7:22
So, like, it was a little bit before I started listening to even, like, podcasts and stuff.
7:26
But like, I would, I would watch, like, seminars and like workshops and things like that.
7:30
And I’d be like, oh my gosh, there’s all of these different things that I should be doing, like, even meditating.
7:36
I like, so I should be meditating.
7:39
Exactly.
7:40
And it literally made me more stressed.
7:42
I started meditating when I was a sophomore in college, I was literally in my sorority house in college, like going to the quiet room and trying to meditate.
7:52
And I would be like, I’m not doing this right.
7:53
I’m not doing this right.
7:54
I’m not doing this right for 20 minutes and then be like, I’m more stressed, you know, like I feel like don’t hurt, I feel worse.
8:03
Yeah.
8:04
So like there is nothing that is the exact right medicine for every single person at every single time.
8:13
And now I love meditating and it does wonders for me.
8:16
And you know, I us usually use like different types of meditation that are more like nervous system regulation and, and that kind of thing rather than the meditation that I was using before.
8:25
So even that there’s no one size fits all for the type of meditation or food or exercise or whatever.
8:34
And so that’s where I love Ayurveda.
8:36
Ayurveda is really helpful to help us decide it kind of like suss out.
8:40
Oh OK.
8:41
I actually have this mind body type and it’s different from my friend who has a completely different body type and also like mental like constitution in general.
8:52
And so in Ayurveda, kind of is broken down into these three different types that anyone can have an imbalance of all three of any of the three.
9:02
So, so for one person who has a lot of, let’s just say it’s called vata.
9:08
And so if you do, you want me to break it down, I can tell me about it.
9:15
OK.
9:16
So there’s three different, there’s three different mind, body types.
9:18
They’re called Dosha in Ayurveda.
9:20
And the first one is vata.
9:23
And well, I’ll break it down in terms of the elements first because sometimes that’s a lot easier.
9:29
So, so, and I usually like put it on, there’s five elements.
9:33
I put it on my five fingers so that we can kind of see it as a visual for anyone who’s watching.
9:37
If you’re listening, it’s OK, like I’ll still, I’ll still explain it in a way that you can understand.
9:42
So the first is, is or ether, which is basically the absence of all of the other elements, the absence of everything, it’s like outer space, there’s, it’s like a black hole like there, there’s nothing then there’s air which is more like wind, movement, movement of, of air.
9:59
And then, so those are the first two elements.
10:01
The third element is, is fire.
10:04
And then the fourth element is water and then we have earth.
10:08
So, you know, fire, water, earth, those ones are a little bit more easy to understand.
10:12
The first dosha is made up of ether or space and air or wind and that’s called vata.
10:19
And so someone who has a lot of air and ether in their constitution.
10:23
Well, I’ll ask you guys, like, what do you think someone who has a lot of air and ether in their constitution?
10:28
What do you think they would be?
10:28
Like anxiety, lots of thoughts, lots of mind energy, like mind energy, airy kind of spacey, like literally in the way that we describe people.
10:40
It’s exactly what it is.
10:43
It’s so I find that, that describe it from the elements can be, can make it really easy.
10:48
Totally.
10:49
Got it.
10:50
Same with like, what about physically?
10:52
What if you have a lot of air and ether in your physiology?
10:55
I think on the thinner side, like maybe smaller bone structure?
11:00
Totally.
11:01
Yeah.
11:02
Delicate.
11:03
Yeah.
11:04
Like a butterfly.
11:06
My lot of friends are like butterflies.
11:10
Yeah, exactly.
11:10
And what about if you’re out of balance with, if you have like a lot of air trapped in your body?
11:16
What might happen with that?
11:19
I don’t know.
11:19
What about in your digestion?
11:20
If you have air trapped out of gas?
11:22
A lot of gas, gas bloating constipation like all that stuff.
11:28
And then if you have air trapped in your joints, it’s going to be like popping joints even, like, can be as far as like arthritis and, you know, weak, weak joints, that kind of thing too.
11:39
You know, there’s dryness in general.
11:41
So if you like, yeah, like something that has a lot of wind blowing against it.
11:45
Like if you have, if you’re outside in the wind, your skin’s gonna get dry.
11:49
So dryness in general in the body as well as like movement, mobility, all of that stuff.
11:54
That’s FTA so if you think about like someone, sometimes people have a lot of energy and then they kind of, they kind of burn it out really, really fast.
12:04
That’s what happens with people who have a lot of vata.
12:07
However, anyone can have an imbalance of vata and I’ll go into that or an imbalance of all of them and I’ll go into that next.
12:13
So let’s do PTA though.
12:14
Pitta is fire.
12:17
I have P too.
12:18
We’re both p I think, I think so.
12:20
Yeah, I think so.
12:21
The ambitious girlies tend to be or tend to have more pizza in their constitution.
12:27
So everyone has all three of the Doha.
12:30
But everyone’s born with like proportion of do I like to look at it as like a pie.
12:37
Yeah.
12:37
So like the biggest slice of my pie is pizza.
12:40
And then I have ka is my secondary slice of my pie.
12:43
And then Vata is the smallest slice of my pie, but I still have it like a really small wrists.
12:48
That’s the vata thing.
12:49
Like it’s, you know, so, but everything else pretty much melt me.
12:52
It’s like pizza.
12:54
I was gonna say I was like, that sounds really familiar to me.
12:56
I was like, because I am really smaller.
12:58
I’m like very delicate in a lot of ways, but then I’m very grounded and fiery.
13:03
So, so you have all of them, everyone has all of them and again, anyone can go out a balance with all of them too.
13:09
So we’ll talk about that next.
13:10
But so pi A is fire.
13:12
What do you think for someone who has a lot of fire in their constitution?
13:15
If you’re in balance, like faster metabolism?
13:18
Totally.
13:18
Yeah.
13:19
More hot and yeah, running more hot.
13:21
They run, they run a heat, like warmer.
13:24
Totally, totally loud.
13:26
Yes.
13:28
A lot of energy.
13:30
Yeah.
13:30
Energy, energetic.
13:32
Yes, definitely.
13:33
We also tend to be more like type a where we, and, and a little bit of perfectionism as well where it’s like we want things to be right.
13:42
We have high expectations.
13:44
We’re ambitious.
13:45
We wanna happy.
13:50
So, yes.
13:51
And then what about like physically?
13:53
So running hot is one anything else that you can think of?
13:56
I think muscular, really easy to put on muscle mass with pitta.
14:02
and then tends, you know, just physiologically tends to be more just like like short.
14:09
But yeah, athletic build, that’s kind of like medium frame essentially.
14:13
Whereas Vata tends to have a smaller frame.
14:16
Ka tends to have a bigger frame.
14:17
That’s the one we’ll talk about next.
14:19
And so Pitta is more like in the middle.
14:22
Another thing about Pitta is the, like, imbalance is like, what do you think of, if you think there’s like a lot of fire going on in your physiology?
14:32
I don’t know.
14:33
I’m like, trying to think.
14:33
What about digestion?
14:35
Yeah.
14:35
Maybe.
14:36
Could it be related to, like, high acid?
14:39
Yeah, exactly.
14:41
Yeah.
14:41
So, anything that feels like burning high stomach Abit, like a reflex indigestion.
14:47
I was like, it has to be related to a higher.
14:50
Yeah.
14:51
Totally.
14:51
Yeah.
14:51
Anything that feels like I’m being tested.
14:56
Everything that I’ve learned with health at, yeah, I got Yoga certified when I was 18.
15:01
So I learned a little bit about this.
15:03
So I know like the Doha and, but I’m loving this refresh and the way you frame it, it’s really good.
15:09
Yeah, I find that like, having other people answer it, it helps them actually retain it because they’re like, oh, it’s a dull, it’s not like I’m just telling you and you’re like, now I need to memorize this.
15:21
It’s like, of course, that’s what it would be in the body, you know?
15:24
And so same with like, any inflammation.
15:27
Oh, yeah, I was going to say is fire, right?
15:30
Any sort of inflammation in the body.
15:32
Same with any redness on the skin.
15:36
Or anything like that.
15:37
P A it’s all red, fiery, all that.
15:40
Rashes, rashes acne, all of it, all of it.
15:44
Yes.
15:45
And then Ka is water and earth and when we mix water and earth, what do we get?
15:52
Clay?
15:55
We get like this sticky substance that’s really dense mud or clay.
16:02
Depending on, I guess it depends on the dirt totally.
16:07
But, yeah.
16:07
So, so Ka tends to be, well, I’ll ask you like, if someone had a lot of water and earth in their, in their constitution, how might they show up in the world?
16:17
Slow, slow moving.
16:20
I feel like you’re dragging, dragging low energy, imbalance.
16:25
Yeah, totally.
16:26
What about when it’s imbalanced?
16:27
What about the people who are like, they’re imbalanced?
16:29
They’re just like a ka mama.
16:30
Like they’re, they’re stable, consistent, reliable, consistent, they’re like the friends that really we want to have.
16:42
You know, it’s like the people who are going to be the ones to give you a hug, my husband.
16:47
Oh, I love it for sure.
16:51
So, yeah.
16:51
So it’s like this really grounded energy.
16:54
Yeah, that’s Nick too.
16:57
Yeah, totally.
16:58
I love it.
16:58
So, yeah.
16:58
So Kaa is, and then, so it can get so grounded that it gets stuck, right?
17:03
So that’s like the, it’s like y check.
17:06
No, that’s so, yeah.
17:10
So when it gets out of balance we, we tend to get stuck in the mud, right?
17:14
Literally, it’s mudd.
17:15
So what about in like physically?
17:18
What could, what could come up like in digestion.
17:22
First thing I think about is not good poops.
17:26
Constipation.
17:29
Like slow digestion.
17:31
Hunger, hunger and a lot of hunger.
17:33
Not a lot.
17:33
Yeah.
17:34
Like low appetite.
17:35
And that the, yeah, totally.
17:38
So, yeah.
17:38
Not, not actually feeling hungry but maybe overeating because you’re just like, well, I don’t know, maybe I should eat, I don’t know which been there before, for sure.
17:46
And so, so the constipation is interesting because constipation can be a vodka thing or a coffee thing.
17:53
So vodka, it’s like trapped, like trapped air, you know, you feel bloated and constipated.
17:58
Whereas coffee you might just, it’s just slow and sticky and like it’s not moving out, it’s just like really, really slow and the same goes for, yeah, in the mind, it’s like we can feel more like lethargy and that kind of thing.
18:11
So in terms of energy and like the like when we’re trying to manage our energy and stuff, the way that we feel a depletion of energy is different for the different types, the different doses.
18:25
So for so Kaa is going to be different from Vata because when we have a vata depletion of energy, we feel like we have nothing left.
18:37
We feel like we are like weak and depleted in that way.
18:41
Whereas with a Kaa low energy, it feels more like an over fullness and a lethargy, a sluggishness.
18:48
So with Vata, it’s more like, oh my God I have literally nothing.
18:53
It’s like a hollowness kind of feeling inside.
18:56
There’s, it’s a subtle difference.
18:58
But, but if we can understand that, then we can understand how to balance out the doses in order to increase energy.
19:05
Because if you have a lot of Kaffa and you are just feeling really slow and sluggish and lethargic and you’ve had like maybe 10 hours of sleep last night and you’re like, I’m just so tired, I’m gonna sleep more.
19:18
That’s actually going to make you feel more tired.
19:22
Whereas for Vata, I’ve also seen on Instagram or on social media that it’s like, ok, if you feel tired, maybe you just need to go do like a high intensity workout and that would be maybe effective for KAFA, but that’s not going to be effective for voa.
19:39
It’s going to make you feel more depleted.
19:41
Yeah.
19:42
So understanding that is really, really, really helpful.
19:46
Yeah, as you’re talking about that makes me think about Nick and I, for example, especially when it comes to our sleep, he always, he always communicates like if he oversleeps like one or two hours, he’s just done for the rest of the day.
19:58
And I’m always like, babe, just take a quick nap and he’s like, that doesn’t work for me every time I do that I just feel worse and versus myself if I don’t have enough sleep, a nap is everything that I need.
20:09
I wake up and I’m like, all Right.
20:12
I feel refreshed.
20:12
Let’s go tackle the day, like, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes an hour, whatever my body needs, I’m like, it does better for me than negative.
20:19
But for Nick, it’s the opposite, which I feel like, really aligns with what you just said.
20:23
Yeah.
20:24
Yeah.
20:24
For sure.
20:25
For me, I find that it’s, it depends.
20:27
If I have a coffee imbalance, then I will feel worse after I wake up from the nap.
20:31
Or if I have vota or Pitza imbalance, usually, like, I feel better after the nap.
20:36
So, like, it varies from person to person and it varies like day to day too and, you know, week to week, month to month, depending on where you’re out of balance to.
20:46
So it’s helpful to know all of the doses as well because you can go out of balance with any of them.
20:51
And I’d imagine too, because as women, we have such a diverse cycle, it’s going to be a different dos and depending on what phase of your cycle you’re into.
20:58
Yes.
20:59
Yeah.
21:00
And also like, the seasons impact us too.
21:03
So we were just talking about how San Diego doesn’t really have very, very extreme seasons, but it’s still subtly done.
21:12
Yeah, for sure.
21:13
And so like in the fall it does, the air becomes a lot drier and it does become a little cooler at least and darker.
21:21
And so, like, you know, when there’s more darkness too, all of that is Vata.
21:25
So we’re in Vata, we’re coming into Vata season at the time of this recording right now.
21:30
And during Vata season, we want to do some things to balance that out too.
21:35
We might feel more dry and, potentially more like bloating and that kind of thing.
21:41
We might feel more scatter brained, might feel more anxious and, and so we can do things to, to balance all of that stuff out.
21:49
So you’re saying, take a tropical vacation, go to where we all want to run away and be like, all right, I’m over it.
21:56
Tell me which place should I be in, in each season, right?
22:02
And it depends on the person too.
22:03
Some people, like someone who has a ton of c in their constitution probably would love to live in the desert because it’s hot and it’s dry.
22:13
And so someone that has more like the water and the earth elements, especially the water element, they’re going to thrive in a place that feels more dry.
22:23
Interesting.
22:24
That makes sense.
22:25
Yeah, because I feel more like I’m hitta vata and I’m not a person really.
22:30
Right.
22:31
Like I don’t feel great a desert or I don’t feel pulled to it.
22:34
I like it, but it wouldn’t be my first destination.
22:36
I will say same.
22:38
I don’t like the desert.
22:39
But whenever I’m there, my hair and my skin feel good.
22:43
I don’t know if you’ve noticed that my hair, I’m like Wow.
22:45
I could actually be in this.
22:46
My skin feels really good.
22:48
That’s why when you go to Costa Rica and it’s like humid.
22:50
I’m like, wow.
22:51
I look my best.
22:52
Yes.
22:53
Maybe I don’t want to be all the time, but I can feel my body like it, but that’s more humid but sometimes it could be hot.
23:01
I mean, it’s like hot humid.
23:02
I thrive in that.
23:04
Totally.
23:05
Me too.
23:05
But I try and pay attention to like, ok, how does my body feel or how is my, honestly, it’s just more like my hair and my skin.
23:11
I don’t look, this is all the because it does change.
23:16
You go to different climates and my hair goes flat or, you know, or certain hairs like Rochelle, for example, one of our friends, she loves the desert because her hair always stays versus like, she’s here in San Diego and it never stays and she’s like, exactly, it gets all frizzy and stuff and she’s like, wow, I could just be in this forever.
23:33
Yeah.
23:33
And so it totally depends on our constitution and our lifestyle too.
23:38
So, like, actually, if we’re doing a ton of traveling during Vata season, even if we’re going to places that are hot and humid, we might get more depleted because travel, like travel and movement all the time is right, Vata.
23:52
So it’s going to be more, get us more out of balance with Vata too.
23:55
So it’s interesting.
23:56
I kind of want to double down a little bit and we don’t have to go too much into this, but like talk about the season.
24:01
So something that like Nick might is also a holistic health practitioner.
24:04
And he talks so much about how you should change the way that you eat the kinds of food that you eat and you kind of start talking about that.
24:10
Like, so what are some things that we can support ourselves?
24:12
Especially because these episodes are probably gonna drop like more fall and winter.
24:17
And I think naturally in the past, for example, for myself, I used to like fear fall in winter because I’m like, I’m gonna fall into like a very depressive state.
24:27
It’s so gloomy.
24:28
Like maybe this helps someone that’s in the winter time, you know, and like, I kind of had a little bit of ptsd going into like the winter time, especially when I got aware of like, oh my gosh, I do have seasonal depression and then last year I welcomed it better.
24:39
I was like, all right, we’re going into my death and rebirth, whatever this looks like.
24:42
Like I, I changed my, like, perspective, my relationship to fall and winter and love your comments on that.
24:48
And like, what can we do to support ourselves in these seasons because we do have less sun.
24:52
We’re not spending as much time outside.
24:53
Things are just changing.
24:55
And so, yeah.
24:56
Yeah.
24:56
It’s, it’s so fascinating in the wellness space that we’re not having as much of this conversation because our bodies change from season to season.
25:09
And if you’re like eating raw vegan all year long, your body is not probably going to be super excited about that.
25:17
And especially if you live in like, I’m from Michigan.
25:20
So if you live in Michigan in the dead of winter and you’re eating like raw foods all winter long.
25:25
I’ve had clients who are like, I feel like I eat healthy, but I feel actually maybe worse when I eat healthy than when I am eating like, you know, other things.
25:36
And I’m like, what are you, what are you, what do you consider healthy and then like, well, like salads and smoothies.
25:41
And I’m like, well, it’s January, you need way more.
25:47
You live in Michigan.
25:49
I feel like the people that thrive that I’ve seen that are raw vegan live in Hawaii and Florida.
25:54
Exactly year round.
25:56
Yes.
25:57
Yes.
25:57
Totally.
25:58
Yeah.
25:58
And that works.
26:00
Yes, when you live in those places.
26:03
Yeah.
26:03
But you see, if you look around the world, our bodies have adapted ancestrally for generations and generations and generations to the types of foods that we were living in the season that, that we were living in.
26:17
So, so like in the winter and in the fall, bringing in more of the foods, like even animal protein and bringing in more,, you know, if you’re going to do animal protein, I would say, like slow cooked because that’s easier to digest for the body.
26:33
It gets so mad at me because he always says, like, CRE you’re cooking it too fast.
26:37
I’m like, I don’t have enough time.
26:37
I got to go and he’s like, you’re not going to be able to digest your food.
26:41
I’m like, OK, I miss you guys would be friends, like, literally in my life.
26:46
He’s like, I don’t want to, sometimes he’ll make his meat not fully cooked.
26:50
And I’m like, but I like it cooked.
26:52
He’s like, then you’re not going to digest it.
26:53
Well, I’m like, you know, I’m like, OK, and then I’m hearing you speak, I’m like, damn, he’s so fucking great in those moments.
27:01
Yeah.
27:03
Yeah, for sure.
27:04
So, yeah.
27:05
So bringing in more of the things that our ancestors would have eaten during these times of year is going to be really helpful.
27:12
Like what’s in season right now?
27:14
Root vegetables, things that are things that are going to be more like soupy stewy, that kind of stuff spiced, things are going to be really helpful.
27:22
So, like not eating as many salads and smoothies and that kind of thing this time of year, like a smoothie in Michigan in the winter.
27:30
But people have been told that that’s what’s healthy.
27:34
Yeah.
27:34
Yeah.
27:35
The other part of it is people like routine.
27:37
That’s something when I was, when I was really stuck on my health eating habits.
27:42
I was like, I’m basically going to eat the same thing every day, every single week because one, I want to lose weight, I want to gain weight, whatever that was when I started my healing journey.
27:50
And so I like routine.
27:51
It’s easy.
27:52
There’s not much thought to it.
27:53
And so what you’re talking about is really creating the openness to changing based off your season.
27:58
And that can also be a challenge for people because they’re like, that feels a lot harder.
28:02
I already know what I’m supposed to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
28:05
I eat this for breakfast and lunch and dinner every single day.
28:07
Totally.
28:08
Yes.
28:08
You know, it’s so true.
28:10
So I like to look at it as like very small tweaks that we can do.
28:14
So, for example, a lot of times I’ll have like chia pudding for breakfast throughout the summer.
28:20
It’s really awesome.
28:21
It’s very balancing for pita.
28:23
I’ll put like blueberries in it and some almond butter drizzled over the top with some like maybe some nuts or whatever and coconut flakes, especially in the summer because that’s all cooling.
28:34
That’s great for pitta season when it’s hot and there’s fire like that’s the element.
28:39
So in, in the fall, like this morning, I woke up and it was colder like it’s which I was very excited about.
28:47
Yeah, colder.
28:48
It was like 60 eight like it’s all fall weather.
28:55
So I just heated it up.
28:57
I literally all I did.
28:58
That was different was I heated it up and that was it.
29:03
So you can do really small things too.
29:05
Even, like, if you’re like, well, I want to eat, you know, my, my bowl, my salad, whatever.
29:11
What I do in the fall and the winter, like, my go to is mostly like a salad in the summer.
29:17
But in the fall and the winter it’s going to be like, basically cooked salad, like warm vegetable greens and some, yeah, some, some root veggies or whatever.
29:28
And maybe like a grain or something in there or meat or whatever and having basically the same thing but warmed and,, and switching up maybe the type of vegetable or the type of fruit or whatever it is based on the season too.
29:43
But the concept can remain the same.
29:45
So it doesn’t have to be so much mental energy because it’s like, ok, I can just throw this thing together.
29:51
Does that make sense?
29:52
Yeah.
29:52
Yeah.
29:53
Yeah.
29:54
And that’s the other thing about, like, cooking too, like people think, oh, you’re a health coach.
29:58
You must be like an amazing chef.
30:00
And I’m like, no, not at all.
30:03
Not an amazing chef, but I get the job done every day of my life.
30:07
And that’s what I teach my clients is like, it doesn’t have to be a lot of times we think of food needing to be this like this.
30:15
Oh, I have to find a recipe and I have to make it this whole big thing.
30:19
And then when we don’t do that, when we haven’t had the time to go to the grocery store and get every single ingredient for this recipe that we wanna make or whatever.
30:28
We’re like, well, I don’t know what to do.
30:29
So I’ll just order out or I’ll go out to eat instead or, or whatever.
30:34
And so my goal with my clients is to help them figure out, ok, what do I have in the fridge or the freezer or, you know, what kinds of foods can I keep on hand in the freezer too?
30:45
Which is nice that I can just whip up, throw together.
30:48
And once they’ve, once they have done that, I’m like, you’ve made it, it’s like, yes, this is exactly what you, what my goal is for you is to just not make it such a big deal.
31:00
And I think I love that you’re speaking to.
31:02
There’s just so many opinions about what you should eat and meats and how you should eat and all these things.
31:08
And it’s like what you’re speaking to is more ok.
31:11
I don’t need to tell you to eat eight ounces of chicken and this looks so specific.
31:16
But if you understand the seasons, like this is an ancient practice that has been carried down for, I mean, you know, better than me.
31:23
But I know it’s been around for a very thousands of years, thousands of years and instead we’re like, no, we know better.
31:29
Like, I think a smoothie, you know, or whatever.
31:32
And I think that’s, I love that you’re speaking to that.
31:35
Right.
31:35
Fair.
31:36
That, that it’s really more about just understanding the basics.
31:39
It’s not so important necessarily that you’re like, oh, specific about every ingredient, but understanding what the purpose of it, of the meal is almost totally.
31:50
And a lot of times people look at, you know, the specific nutrients that they need to have, but, you know, if you’re putting a protein powder in your smoothie with all of these, like, raw, you know, made probably frozen fruits and different things that you might not even be able to assimilate that protein at all.
32:12
Like just, or absorb the nutrients.
32:15
Yeah.
32:16
Right.
32:16
Any of the vitamins, minerals, all of the things that go into it, you’re not actually able to assimilate it unless you can digest it.
32:24
And so it might just cause gas bloating and constipation or diarrhea or whatever it is, you know, acid reflux, whatever, instead of giving you the things that you think that you’re getting out of it.
32:37
And so even supplements, if we can’t digest the supplements that we’re taking, if we’re not, if we’re not effectively digesting our food and what comes in, you’re, you’re just making, it’s like wasteful.
32:49
Yeah.
32:49
Like it’s so true and it’s, it’s, I’m so glad you’re talking to this and you guys very yellow if you take B vitamin Well, I am taking a B complex right now that I really need and I am a very yellow pea and I’m like, it’s working, yeah, very expensive.
33:10
But you’re talking to so much about this that I think I learned as well in my head when I first started taking all these supplements because everyone said you need this, you need that.
33:20
You see the ads, like, you know, not trying to big on my mom, but she sends me ads like, what do you think about seed?
33:25
What do you think about a one?
33:26
And what do you think about this thing?
33:28
And she’s asking me a nick and I’m like, I don’t know, I don’t know where your body’s at.
33:32
Like I don’t even want to make a recommendation anymore because unless we look at you as a whole being like it’s really not fair and that’s the part where like marketing fucks us, sorry, it just messes with us.
33:45
You know, it’s kind of like you see this thing and you’re like everyone says that it’s working and that I need a probiotic and all this stuff.
33:50
But you’re talking to like you really got to get to a place where you can even absorb the nutrients of it.
33:55
You, your body can even receive it.
33:57
Does it feel safe to receive it?
33:59
Which is a whole another conversation around stress, right?
34:01
Like all those things totally and yeah, and like so much of what I do is not at all related to food.
34:08
Like it’s literally let’s get into the rhythms of our body’s actual nature and nervous system regulation and that kind of thing.
34:18
But really getting those like basic circadian rhythm habits down the really fundamental things.
34:26
And we can make some really small tweaks that to our lifestyle, but also to the food that we’re eating and to even like the times of day that we’re eating and, and all of that, that’s going to impact us so much more than that superfood that you know, the cella that you’re putting in.
34:46
Yes, totally.
34:48
I, the first time I met Austin, he came, we lived in L A and he kicked to my house and I had a cupboard full of powders and supplements and he was like, you need to throw all this out.
34:56
What is this?
34:57
You be a witch, like what’s happening?
34:59
You need.
35:00
I love it.
35:00
My husband calls me a witch all the time.
35:02
Like you do a little concoction in the corner and be like a couple of candles lit.
35:05
All right.
35:06
I’m feeling, yeah, he’s like, are you like, are you, why is all this?
35:11
What’s up so funny?
35:14
But it’s true.
35:15
It’s so hard to know.
35:17
You want to optimize your energy to feel your fullest expression.
35:22
But then, yeah, you have all these opinions and so what are some ways that we can get back into intuition within ourselves or tap back in what are some of the things you tell your clients to help them get to that place where they’re like, they don’t have a cupboard filled with unnecessary.
35:39
I love it.
35:40
So, and you know, to be clear, like, I love a good green powder.
35:43
Like, you know, like, I mean, I still have a cupboard of cheese and powder.
35:46
So, like, you know, I like the herbs and stuff can be really fun, but they’re going to be ineffective unless you have the basics down.
35:54
And so what I help my clients with, because a lot of times people know like that they should be sleeping more and that they should be like, you know, maybe that they, that it really benefits them when they meditate and all that kind of thing, but they’re not actually doing it.
36:08
And that’s where my behavior change background comes in because that was my biggest frustration was I was like watching all these workshops and seeing all these things on Instagram.
36:19
And I was like, yeah, I know, but like, how do I actually do it?
36:24
It was like the knowledge without the implementation.
36:26
How do I actually implement it?
36:28
So like all of my friends would come to me to like, you know, for, for food, you know, recommendations, nutrition, stuff.
36:36
Like I knew all of this stuff, but I was not doing it consistently.
36:40
I was not actually living it all the time.
36:42
I would go really hardcore for like a few weeks and then completely fall off the wagon and then back on and off and on and off.
36:50
And I’m like, who’s listening?
36:51
I can relate to that.
36:53
Like, the whole world to be like, it is January 1.
36:55
I’m going to go and we, like, I’m over my shit.
36:59
I’m going to do things right and go and go full manic.
37:03
So I’m going to overhaul my entire life and do everything differently and it’s like this intensity, there’s this whole thing of like, now I have space and I’m going to do it all.
37:15
So what is it like there to break that down?
37:17
And I would even be like, ok, once, you know, back when I was in college and grad school, it was like, once I, once the school year starts, then I’ll change everything.
37:28
You’re like, ok, once the school year ends and summer starts, then I’ll change everything and then, you know, and especially for Pittas, pittas tend to be more intense about everything in general.
37:39
So this is like a common pattern for us.
37:42
But it can be for anyone too.
37:44
So the biggest thing is to the first thing that I do with my clients is to like, break them out of the all or nothing mindset.
37:52
And that’s not as, you know, that’s easier said than done.
37:55
Like you were, we’ve all heard like moderation is key, but it’s like, well, a lot of times we’ll think, yeah, that’s fine for other people.
38:03
But like, I can just, like, do it right.
38:05
I can just do it right the first time and I’ll just, I’ll just like, I’ll just have more willpower and then if I have more willpower then, and that’s all I need.
38:12
I just need to be better, but that doesn’t work.
38:15
That’s not the thing that works in behavior change, science.
38:18
And so having deep, deep wellspring of compassion for ourselves is what actually works and not in a sense of like, just giving up where it’s like, well, I’ll just like, not do anything at all.
38:29
And that was kind of a misconception that I had even like with like the body positivity movement and the, you know, and, and really having like a connection with your body and like being anti diet culture and all of that kind of thing.
38:43
I was like, yeah, but like, I also want to be healthy, you know, like, II I get that there’s no that I’m not more worthy or whatever based on what my body looks like.
38:55
But I also feel like crap.
38:57
So there’s so how can we actually come to a place where we feel really good in our bodies while at the same time having compassion for ourselves that we don’t need to be quote unquote perfect.
39:07
And so really breaking down like there is no perfect.
39:12
Yeah.
39:12
And the thing that helps my clients a lot is actually tuning into ok, what’s happening in my body right now in my mind, like, what’s actually going on.
39:25
And so I do a lot of practices that are like, kind of body scans and like, because a lot of times, I mean, I was so disconnected from my body.
39:32
Like, I didn’t know when I was hungry or when I was full or any really anything that was going on in my body and I would rely on portion sizes or, or like calorie counting abs back when that was like a big popular thing or was it called my Fitness pal?
39:50
Right.
39:51
You got it.
39:54
You probably lasted longer than me.
39:56
I think I did it for a week and I was like, this is too much.
39:58
Oh my God.
39:58
I was so I had a whole another way and there is, that’s the cool thing is.
40:05
So when we start to recognize, ok, I am feeling really, let’s say I’m feeling really spacey and gassy bloated, all of these things that are airy air qualities.
40:19
What am I going to be able to do to actually ground that down?
40:22
It’s the opposite, the opposite qualities of what you are feeling are going to balance you out.
40:28
So, for Vata, which is the air and ether one, the dosha that is, you know, if you have the gas bloating spaciness, all of that stuff, the, the opposite quality is going to be like, you know, if you’re dry all of that is going to be wet, unctuous grounding and, you know, basically bringing things down, bringing things in and down.
40:50
So root vegetables, things that are under the ground, seeds are under the ground.
40:56
So seeds, grains, all of that kind of thing.
40:57
Those are things that get planted under the ground.
41:00
Those things are going to be more grounding, you know, meat and that kind of thing too is super grounding because it’s like the densest thing, right that we eat other than like processed foods.
41:13
But so we don’t need that on the show, you know, processed foods, we already know that that’s like not gonna serve us.
41:20
But and also there can be a time and a place for that too, like, you know, in Ayurveda there, the answer to every question is, it depends, it’s like anything can be medicine at any given time and anything can be poison at a different given time for a different person or even for the same person just at a different time.
41:43
So, yeah, so once we start to tap into, ok, so now if you’re feeling really sluggish and lethargic and sticky, your digestion is slow, like all of that kind of thing, what are the opposite qualities that we’re going to be able to enliven and invigorate?
41:58
So the words that I like to use for the different doses and for energy management is for vata, the name of the game, we’re feeling a lot of air Ether scattered.
42:11
We want grounding and nourishing.
42:14
Those are the, so what are going to be the foods that are grounding and nourishing, not just foods either.
42:20
Like what are the practices?
42:21
Exercises?
42:22
Totally.
42:23
And for vata, like a lot of times people are really drawn to yoga if they have a lot of vata because they’re really flexible.
42:30
So because they have a lot of air in their bodies, they need, yo, maybe.
42:35
So they actually need strengthening because they have like smaller bones and stuff.
42:42
They need things to make sense.
42:44
You’re going to build them.
42:45
So people a lot of times don’t know that and yin yoga too is great is great for vata.
42:51
It’s even better for pizza, which it’s like the hardest for pizza.
42:57
It’s like, oh my God, you’re going to make me sit here for so long.
43:00
Are we done with this pose yet?
43:02
What’s the so, yeah, so nourishing and grounding then for pizza?
43:09
Because it’s so fiery and you know, intense.
43:13
The words that I like to use are like soothing and cooling and so the kinds of foods that are going to be soothing and cooling.
43:20
Well, I’ll ask you guys like what, what kinds of foods would be soothing and cooling, I think like mint.
43:25
Yeah.
43:25
Like herbs that are mint fresh.
43:28
Yeah.
43:28
Yeah.
43:28
Yeah.
43:28
Yeah, totally.
43:29
Yeah.
43:30
Yeah.
43:31
Fruits.
43:33
So like, so specifically like fruits that you’re going to have in the summer or fruits that are going to be like tropical fruits, right?
43:40
Like things that are, that grow in the heat.
43:44
Yeah.
43:44
It’s like, oh, right.
43:45
Yeah, it’s not complicated but we love to complicate things.
43:50
So like, you know, I’m not saying that in the dead of winter that if you’re feeling more pitta symptoms, like the pineapple.
43:56
So like, yeah, to like, start eating watermelon.
43:58
Like it’s going to be gross first of all.
44:00
And then, and also like, that’s not, that’s, that’s not the vibe, but you can bring in maybe some like, you know, coconut oil or dried coconut or whatever just to like Sprinkle on top of your grain bowl or whatever or your chia or your oatmeal, that kind of thing.
44:16
So there are little tweaks that we can make soothing and cooling.
44:19
It’s also like the kinds of exercises that we can be doing yin soothing, very like slow, whatever swimming is great for pizza.
44:27
It cools us down and soothes and, and all of that.
44:31
And then kaa, the words that I like to use are like invigorating and lightning.
44:38
So because we feel really heavy, we want things that are going to feel more light and invigorating.
44:45
So things obviously like leafy greens, those are the parts of the plant that are literally hanging in the air.
44:53
So like we’ve got the roots under the ground, we’ve got the leaves that are hanging in the air that are gonna balance out heavy qualities and then, you know, things that are more invigorating are like ginger spices, things like that, that can really help move things along.
45:09
So, if we’ve got slow digestion, we’re like getting sticky and sluggish that can move things.
45:14
What about cold plunge too?
45:15
Because I feel like I don’t love the cold plunge, but my husband does it every single day and he’s more of a cough of energy.
45:22
So it kind of, I like a sauna.
45:24
Yeah.
45:24
Yeah.
45:25
Yeah.
45:25
But also now I’m thinking, is that good for fire?
45:27
I don’t know why not.
45:29
It, but I’m curious about those kind of things because, you know, everyone says you should sauna five times a week and you should cold plunge, you should do all these things and, and maybe it’s not good for everyone all the time.
45:41
It does, it totally varies.
45:42
It can be helpful for, it can even, I mean, cold plunge could also be helpful for someone who has a lot of vata in their constitution.
45:51
Like, especially if it’s really hot outside.
45:53
And, you know, but most of the people I know who have a lot of vata in their constitution are like, yeah, the cold plunge thing.
46:01
I’m good.
46:02
Yeah, I’m not going to do that yet.
46:04
But if you have more coffee that is, it’s so invigorating.
46:08
If you have a lot of votes in your constitution, you might wake up feeling more invigorated already anyway, with more energy and you get really cold, really easily Mafa, you can also get cold easily but you have more insulation.
46:22
You tend to have more insulation and so doing the cold plunge is like great for, especially like Pita ka people.
46:28
So like for me, I’m, I’m Pita and my secondary is ka and cold plunges.
46:32
Do wonders for me.
46:34
Love cold plunges.
46:35
I don’t do as because of my coffee, like because I have more coffee too.
46:40
The saunas can, can be good for me as well.
46:43
But I will tend to do it on a lower temperature in the summertime than in the winter time when it’s colder.
46:49
Same with like hot yoga.
46:50
People are like, you know, doing hot yoga all summer long and I’m like, and they have a bunch of pizza like problems already and I’m like, well, maybe let’s just do normal yoga for a little bit until it’s like winter time.
47:06
So, yeah, so it’s so the cool thing about Ayurveda is that it just gives us tools to be like, here are the opposite qualities like that’s all, it doesn’t, it’s not a hard and fast rule where you have to eat this certain way.
47:20
And this is your, I never give someone like this is your diet plan.
47:24
Like, yeah, because I’m like that, first of all, a diet plan is actually not even going to be as effective for us.
47:33
Like, you know, not, not to mention the fact that it also detaches us from like our relationship with our body and, and, you know, perpetuates like diet culture and not really actually knowing what’s going on with our body.
47:45
But it also is not as effective because it, because when we actually utilize our body intuition and some of the tools that we can learn with Ayurveda, that’s when we’re more effective at being able to change when our, when the season changes be more open to that.
48:02
Yeah.
48:02
Or like when something happens at work that is really stressful and we can, we can start to be like, oh, this is what’s going on actually in my body and here’s what I can do to actually shift that.
48:14
Yeah.
48:15
And I think too, it’s when you were speaking to that, I feel like it’s so I even earlier and we were talking about how you were like, we’re going to change our whole life in the next month, you know, and then it’s, and then what I think happens is we have one off day and we bake 12 cookies and eat six.
48:29
You know, I, that’s something I would have done in the past.
48:32
Like, and then be like, oops, I ruined it, I guess I don’t have to do it anymore.
48:35
So I’ll start, I’ll start next month.
48:38
I’ll start during lent.
48:40
I would always do.
48:43
And so I feel like, can you speak to how you help people overcome that mentality as well or understanding that you’re not ruining your energy just because you made a hiccup or, you know what I mean?
48:54
Like, you don’t have to give up completely.
48:57
Like, how do you guide people through that sort of thing?
48:58
Like the all or nothing mindset?
49:00
Yeah.
49:00
So, I actually have like, a whole model of, like, o, like an overindulgence model.
49:06
So, it’s like, you know, overeating.
49:08
But it can also be, I just spent six hours watching Netflix and now it’s two in the morning and I am getting up at seven and you know, now my life is just spiraling, right?
49:20
Same with like, you know, I’ve been on, I’ve been on Instagram for like an hour and what just happened and like we then we start to feel guilt, right?
49:28
We start to feel like, oh my gosh, like I should have done better.
49:31
And so there are different points of the cycle in the cycle of like Overindulgence where most of the time we think that we need to stop it before it happens.
49:40
But in order to stop that pattern, that cycle, there are multiple different places that we can actually get out of it, including after the fact.
49:50
So if we tend to have that cycle and then feel a lot of guilt and shame around it, that guilt and shame will perpetuate the cycle, it will literally make us do the cycle again.
50:01
Psychologically.
50:02
That’s how it works.
50:03
It’s the weirdest thing, but that is true like that is we can’t actually guilt ourselves into long term change.
50:09
We can willpower our way to short term change, but we can’t actually guilt our way into into having a, having a sustainable change over time.
50:20
And so what we want to do then is to kind of maybe just like put a hand on your heart and be like, ok, what just happened?
50:27
Like what led me to overeat in that way or what, what made this happen rather than be like, oh my God, I suck.
50:35
Like I just don’t have the willpower like everyone else seems to have it together and I just can’t get it together, which was what I would think all the time.
50:44
And so coming to that place and being like, oh, actually, here’s what led up to that.
50:50
Here’s why it happened now.
50:52
You not only have that compassion for yourself, but also you have knowledge for the future to be like, oh, this thing is happening again, I can actually do something different this time.
51:04
So we’ve got the compassion and then we’ve got like data points, we’ve got data for future interactions with food or whatever.
51:12
Overindulgence we’ve, we’ve had.
51:14
And so that’s one of the parts of the cycle that we can get out.
51:18
And another part of the cycle is like in the middle of it where we’re like, I’m eating the third cookie right now.
51:24
It is a bad idea.
51:28
I really want the third cookie just like the pros I think that that was a big one for me getting curious.
51:34
Do I really want the third cookie or?
51:36
Am I just eating the cookie?
51:37
Am I just reaching the cookie because it’s there?
51:40
Oh, I watch it completely and, and can I give myself, oh, I’m allowed to eat this next cookie fully.
51:48
I am allowed.
51:49
I’m allowed to eat it then.
51:52
Do I actually want it?
51:54
Do I still want it?
51:55
Yes.
51:56
If I’m really truly allowed to do I want it.
51:58
Yes, it might be.
51:59
Yes.
51:59
Cool.
52:00
That’s still going to break the cycle.
52:02
It’s going to break the pattern of that deprivation binge cycle of I’m not allowed to have it, but seems so good.
52:12
That’s going to break the cycle when we actually allow ourselves.
52:15
I can have this at any time.
52:17
So something I like to say around the holidays is like, you know, sometimes people overindulge in stuff because they’re like, well, it only comes around once a year.
52:25
And so I want to have as much as I possibly can of it.
52:27
And I’m like, what if you made it next week?
52:29
They like have it again, have it again, make it if that’s what you really want.
52:35
What if you gave yourself permission to have it all year round?
52:38
So that’s huge.
52:40
Like when people start to understand that it makes a really massive difference.
52:46
And I really love, see, I really love working with my clients over the holidays because they’re like, oh, my God, this was the best holiday Halloween ever, or this was the best Christmas ever or whatever holiday it is.
53:00
They’re like, because I, I feel, I don’t hate myself.
53:05
Like, I, I don’t or not, I mean, hate is a strong word too but, like, I don’t feel guilty the whole time I’m allowing myself and not just like, I’m just going to town on everything and, like, because that also doesn’t make us feel good.
53:19
That makes us feel crappy.
53:21
It just physiologically, we just don’t feel as good.
53:24
And so if we can actually tune in tap in the word for health in Ayurveda is called Sassa.
53:31
And the, it means health and it also means the like the breakdown of the actual word S fasta means to be seated in the self.
53:42
So when we can just be fully seated in ourselves, that is the ultimate health.
53:47
Oh That’s a great place to stop.
53:49
Yeah, my job, I know we could talk forever about this.
53:53
So that’s my goal for people.
53:55
That’s what I want is get seated in the self so good as we start to wrap up this episode.
54:02
One thing that we always ask all of our podcast guests is bringing it back to you because I think it’s so important for us to also hear what is the next step or the next evolution or the next era or where in your life and you step into more of your fullest express.
54:16
So I love this question because I’m like constantly thinking about that as a P A driven, a lot of fire.
54:28
For me, this next chapter is about being seen and allowing myself to be seen more and so sharing more openly and vulnerably but also just like more even more consistently.
54:44
You know, I like sharing on social media and pod being on podcasts and that kind of thing.
54:51
That’s where I really want to up level in this next season.
54:55
For me.
54:56
I love that.
54:57
That’s so great.
54:58
I think there’s this running theme today of people really craving to be seen.
55:02
And I think there’s like different levels of being seen, right?
55:05
Like, how do I let myself be seen in relationship?
55:07
How do I let myself be seen through my business?
55:09
How do I let myself be seen and just life in general, like at the grocery store?
55:13
You know what I mean?
55:14
Like there’s different areas of life where you can be seen and I’m so excited for you because it seems like you’re really stepping into your next big era of you.
55:22
Totally.
55:23
Yeah.
55:24
Yeah.
55:24
It’s so fun.
55:24
