In episode 53, I’m taking a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve been on together over the past year.
This episode is not just a celebration of a milestone but also an opportunity to share some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned while creating and hosting this podcast.
It’s been a year filled with growth, challenges, and unforgettable moments, and I’m excited to dive into what it all means.

The Power of Consistency
One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned this past year is the power of consistency. Dropping an episode every single week for a year has been no small feat, and it’s taught me the importance of showing up, even when it’s tough. There were weeks when I didn’t feel creative, when I was exhausted, or when I just didn’t know what to say. But I pushed through, and the reward has been immense.
Consistency has not only helped me build a loyal audience but also allowed me to refine my voice and message. The more I showed up, the more confident I became in what I had to offer. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most significant growth happens when you keep going, even when it’s hard.
Embracing Change and Letting Go
Another crucial lesson has been about embracing change and knowing when to let go. This podcast is evolving, and so am I. As I prepare for a short break and an exciting rebrand, I’m reminded of how important it is to stay open to new possibilities. Change can be daunting, but it’s also a powerful catalyst for growth.
I’ve seen this firsthand in my own life. For years, I resisted starting this podcast because I was afraid of not doing it perfectly. It took me four years to finally take the leap, and now I can’t imagine my life without it. This experience has taught me that letting go of perfectionism and embracing the unknown can lead to some of the most fulfilling experiences.
Finding My Voice
Starting the podcast was about more than just creating content; it was about finding and refining my voice. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing incredible guests and sharing my thoughts on a wide range of topics. Through these conversations, I’ve discovered more about who I am and what I stand for.
Finding your voice is an ongoing journey. It’s about being authentic, honest, and willing to speak your truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. This podcast has been a platform for me to explore and express my deepest thoughts, and in doing so, I’ve connected with so many of you on a meaningful level.

The Importance of Community
One of the most rewarding aspects of this podcast has been building a community of like-minded individuals. The Fully Expressed Podcast is more than just a show; it’s a gathering place for people who are committed to living their most authentic lives. Over the past year, we’ve created a space where women can come together, support one another, and celebrate each other’s successes.
I’ve seen firsthand the power of deep sisterhood and the impact it can have on our lives. Whether through our monthly calls or in-person events, this community has been a source of inspiration and strength. If you’re not already a part of this community, I encourage you to join us. There’s nothing like having a group of women who truly get it and are there to support you every step of the way.

Leaning Into Your Worthiness
A theme that’s been present throughout this journey is the idea of worthiness. It’s something I’ve struggled with in the past—waiting until I felt “ready” or “worthy” to take on new challenges or step into new spaces. But this year has taught me that worthiness isn’t something you earn; it’s something you claim.
I want to encourage anyone listening to lean into their worthiness, even if you don’t feel ready. Whether it’s starting a new project, reaching out to someone you admire, or stepping into a leadership role, trust that you are enough just as you are. Don’t wait for permission—give it to yourself.

Showing Up Even When It’s Hard
There were definitely times this past year when I didn’t want to show up. Life got busy, creative energy waned, and doubts crept in. But I kept going, thanks in large part to the encouragement of those around me. My partner, Nick, was a huge support, reminding me to keep showing up, even when I wanted to drop the ball.
This experience has reinforced the importance of resilience and perseverance. Sometimes, the hardest part is just getting started, but once you do, you’ll often find that the momentum carries you forward. Showing up, even on the days when it’s tough, is what builds strength and character.

Looking Forward: The Next Chapter
As I take a short break to recalibrate and prepare for the next chapter of The Fully Expressed Podcast, I’m filled with excitement about what’s to come. We’re planning a rebrand that will take the podcast to new heights, with more video content, in-person recordings, and phenomenal guests. I can’t wait to share these updates with you and continue this journey of growth and self-expression.
We’re also planning another in-person event to celebrate the podcast’s one-year anniversary, and I’d love for you to join us. It’s going to be a special time to connect, reflect, and celebrate how far we’ve come.
This past year has been an incredible journey, filled with lessons, growth, and connection. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who has been a part of The Fully Expressed Podcast community. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or are just tuning in, thank you for your support, your feedback, and your commitment to living a fully expressed life.
As I take this break to prepare for what’s next, I encourage you to reflect on your own journey. Where can you show up more consistently? What changes do you need to embrace? How can you lean into your worthiness and express yourself more fully? I’m excited to continue exploring these questions with you as we move into the next chapter together.
